2. Wiring and Internal Function Description
Positive power supply input (Governor & Motor)
Negative power supply input (Governor & Motor)
Positive output of the motor power supply
Negative output of the motor power supply
Positive/Negative rotation control (High 5V / Low 0V), default High
Brake control output (High 5V / Low 0V), default High
Analog voltage output (0~5V) for speed regulation motors
PWM1 reverse output (Speed inversely proportional to duty cycle)
PWM2 forward output (Speed proportional to duty cycle)
Motor feedback signal input (FG/FG*3 jumper configurable)
3. Parameter Settings
Frequency: Hold switch 1 before power-on. Release when "FEQ:20K" appears. Adjust using switch 1 (-) and switch 2 (+).
Poles: Hold both switches 1 and 2 before power-on. Adjust pole numbers (default 1 pole).
Feedback (FG): Set via jumper caps. No cap = single FG; With cap = 3 times FG*3.
Direction: CW/CCW pin initial state. Added skip cap for CCW, no cap for CW.
Important Precautions:
1. Always connect positive and negative power supplies correctly. Reversing polarity will burn the governor.
2. Ensure the governor matches the motor control interface specifications.
3. Do not exceed 5V on control ports (items 5-9 in wiring description).
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the compatible voltage range for this governor?
The governor supports a DC voltage range of 5V to 28V.
Can I use this governor with a motor that requires more than 2A?
The rated current is MAX 2A. If your motor requires more current, you must connect the motor power line directly to the power supply instead of through the governor.
How do I change the PWM output frequency?
Press and hold switch 1 before powering on. Once "FEQ:20K" is displayed, release the button and use switches 1 and 2 to adjust the frequency.
What happens if I reverse the positive and negative power inputs?
Reversing the power supply will cause the governor to fail and will likely result in permanent damage (burning the board).
What are the default factory settings for frequency and poles?
The factory default settings are 20KHz for frequency and 1 pole for the motor pole count.
How is the motor feedback signal (FG) configured?
It is configured via a jumper cap on the FG/FG*3 pin. No jumper cap signifies single FG, while adding a jumper cap sets it to 3 times FG*3.
